Unfortunately, when you purchase a new car, it is likely to have been subjected to poor storage conditions and damage in transportation.

 

Poor unskilled pre-delivery inspection and a lack of knowledge in paintwork preparation at the dealership can also lead to a whole array of defects and problems which leave the paintwork with light scratches and the overall finish duller and less spectacular than it should be.

Paint Protection offered from your dealership, despite the promises, doesn't compare to what we can offer at Phoenix Detailing, simply because the dealerships do not have the expertise, experience, techniques, products and time to offer a full and safe process.

We recommend all New Car Details receive a full Kamikaze Ceramic Coating package to give paintwork unrivalled UV resistance, dirt repellency, easy clean and swirl resistance. To add the extra touch alloy wheels can be removed to be coated inside and out, as well as exterior glass sealed with a durable rain repellent, interior upholstery and leather receiving an interior coating to protect against stains, discolouration, fabric wear as well as making it easy to clean. All in, the best start in life for your investment.

We advise you to ask your dealership not to touch the car prior to collection. No washing or polishing. This way, we reduce the need for costly paint correction services where fine scratches and swirls from bad contact could have easily been induced in the preparation stages.

   THE PROCESS

 

  • Wheels and brake calipers cleaned (removed if receiving extra coating package)

​​

  • A pH neutral snow foam is applied and left to dwell​

​

  • Thorough pressure rinse down

​

  • Vehicle washed safely using the two-bucket method and pH neutral shampoo

​

  • Tar spots, iron filings and bonded contaminants, including sap and industrial fall out  are removed with specific solvents and a Clay Bar treatment

​

  • Final rinse down

​

  • Blow dried and microfiber towel dried

​

   PREPARATION

​​

  • Spot cutting on specific areas of imperfections to remove any defects found

​

  • Deeper scratches and defects are carefully removed, ensuring the integrity of the clear coat is not compromised by using accurate paint depth gauge readings

​

  • A refining polish is carried out to remove any cutting stage machine marring and to increase clarity, depth and gloss

​

  • Tyres dressed

​

  • Exhaust tips polished and protected

   FINISH

  • Final wipe down with ceramic spray sealant.
